Inside Doug's Seafood — beach-themed counter and chalkboard menus
Our Story

A fish market that became a landmark.

What started as a husband-and-wife seafood counter in 2013 grew — one lobster roll at a time — into the place Bonita Springs brings its visitors first.

Since 2013

Fresh. Local. Wicked Good.

Doug's Seafood began in 2013, when husband-and-wife team Doug and Rhonda Anderson opened a humble seafood market on Bonita Beach Road with one promise: the freshest catch available, sold by people who care.

Word spread. The market grew into a fast-casual restaurant where the same fresh fish could be enjoyed hot off the fryer — New England favorites like lobster rolls and whole-belly clams alongside local grouper and snapper.

Today, under the ownership of Darrel and Tamika Peters, Doug's is writing its next chapter — new menu items, community events, and the same values that built the name: fresh seafood, warm hospitality, and treating customers like family.

What We Stand For

The Doug's way

Fresh First

If it isn't fresh enough to sell at our market counter, it doesn't go on your plate. Simple as that.

Family, Not Customers

The owner greets you, kids gobble their meals, and regulars get remembered. That's the house style.

Community Proud

From hero discounts to local events, we're invested in the town that built us.
